MCP and gateway
This is what kindling was born for.
Take an MCP server from npm or PyPI, stdio or HTTP, and turn it into a service that wakes up from a golden.
kling plugin install mcpkling mcp search filesystemkling mcp add io.github.domdomegg/filesystem-mcpkling connect -all -install allconnect really checks
Section titled “connect really checks”It runs a real MCP initialize before handing you anything.
Service: ecoEndpoint: http://192.168.2.60:8080/mcp/ecoStatus: ✓ kindling-echo v1.0.0 · 2 tool(s): echo, session_infoIt writes the configuration for Claude Code, opencode, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Cline and Zed.
The gateway
Section titled “The gateway”It takes the call, restores the snapshot, proxies it and freezes the machine once idle. It requires a token.

|---|---|
| Cold (from the golden) | 244 ms |
| Warm | 9 ms |
